I really want to attend this conference now more than ever. We just survived Hurricane Ike. Most Houstonians still don't have electricity. I was in Chambers country yesterday and since I am not a news reporter and I am not used to covering disasters, it was tough for me. As many of you have said. The environment will undoubtedly affect our economic situation, and frankly I am angry we have as a nation been misinformed for years about this very important issue. I am open to learning from all who will be there. I live in the energy capital of the world, where many still believe, man has not caused climate change. My view is that it does not matter at the point who is causing it. What my question is now is what do we do about it. Can we do anything about it? Where can we finally get ACCURATE information. One day I hear, most climate scientists say this is caused by man, the next day another group of scientists says the opposite. Who are we to believe and trust based on science and facts. I can't wait to meet you all.
